Odd comments from people..??

Has anyone ever experienced people feeling “sorry” for you because of the gender of your baby? It’s already occurred to me a few times after I tell people them I’m having a girl (which is what I actually wanted) they just apologize like if having a girl is a bad thing? What’s the deal with that? The first couple of times it happened I thought it was a joke, but the more often it’s happened and hearing it from different people I am now just not wanting to tell people what I’m having. Maybe it’s the prego emotions but It does make me feel bad.
