Military Girlfriend- Help! Real Talk.

Hi, guys!! My name is Sarah, and I’ve been dating a man by the name of Curtis for almost 2 years now (it’ll be our 2 yr anniversary in September).

Next month on July 5th is his graduation of camp, and his parents and I will be driving down to Kentucky to attend the ceremony as well as bring him home.

I’m so excited to finally get a chance to see my baby ❤️❤️❤️ By the time the ceremony rolls around, we’ll have been apart for almost 3 months.

Anywho, over these past couple of weeks however, we’ve had minimal contact (which is very normal). And over this relatively short period of time I got to thinking: “what’s going to happen after this next year when he’s all done with his schooling?” God knows where he’ll be sent off to and for who knows how long....

I just can’t help but worry.

We’ve had multiple conversations about getting married one day, which we both agreed that we want to, but it’s just that I can’t help but wonder when. I personally hope to get engaged before he’s deployed somewhere.

I don’t know. Do you guys think he’ll propose before he has to leave? By the time he graduates we’ll have been together for about 3 years...

Am I crazy to want to get engaged already??
