Breastfeeding past 1 year
When people ask me how long do I plan to breastfeed and I say past 1 year, they all look at me crazy. Mostly my boyfriend family. None of the mothers in the family has ever breastfed which I really don’t care, a fed baby is a happy baby, but why shame me for wanting to breast feed past one year, than giving my baby a cows milk or a plant milk, where I have milk of my own that I can even pump and put in a sippy cup once they get older.
