Most likely, that uncomfortableness and “pain” as described is because you have to SHIT!!!   Increase water and fiber intake (like vegetables) .. caffeine like in coffee helps many... it stimulates peristalsis... if still no dedication, then a stool softener. Laxatives work but can cause abdominal pain and dependency
