I know I’m extremely lucky that my husband will be coming back to the states for a training and will be able to fly home for leave!

We suffered a miscarriage right before he left for a year deployment, so we’ve had to handle it apart from each other. I didn’t tell family because I’d have to listen comments like “you knew what you were getting into” ,”oh well deal with it”.

I’m still having issues with it. Like I keep going back in my mind how excited he was, how sweet and concerned he was thinking about how I’d handle the dogs and birth. How he said he was actually proud to be a father for once(he has 2 teenagers from his 1st marriage when he was very young and they’re awful to him)

My heart aches still. I know he had a hard time checking into his current command because they pulled a mission essential ordmod making him leave a month earlier than the short notice orders.

But I thank the lord that he’ll actually be home during my fertile window!!! Praying for a miracle that we could possibly conceive our rainbow 🌈 baby while he’s home for a short time! I’ve been tracking with OPKs since he left, taking my 3mg of Rx folate, FertiliTea, Geritol, and CoQ10 , and baby aspirin. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know it’s like I’m going overboard but nothing would make us happier as we’ve been trying since last May.
