Dilation & effacement

Y’all! My dr has not checked my cervix! Ever! I’m 37 weeks and 3 days, and had an appointment today, and nothing! I’m like wtf dude!? I asked him and he responded, “we will know.” Uhm, ok you big turd. lol! I’m being induced July 3, and I just don’t understand why he hasn’t done anything! ACOG guidelines say that OB’s start checking at 36+ weeks. (I’m an RN...Pediatric Specialty nurse) I’m just at my wits end. I know everyone feels so done when they get this far along, and I’m right there with y’all! And not knowing where my body is at, is very anxiety inducing, and makes me feel like this is never ever gonna be over. I just needed to vent, because no one gets it. I’m no longer working, i can’t go out on the boat fishing, be out in the Texas heat, take my ocd/anxiety meds and it’s killing me and making me depressed. Sitting alone, while my husband goes into work is literally hellacious and a prison! I’m a prisoner of my own home and of my body! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😔😔😔😒😒😒🤰🏼
