so I live in Ontario and I know you can take up a year for maternity leave or more/less depending how soon or long you wanna go back. but my question is if I work in a restaurant as a line cook make like minimum wage which is 14$ will I be able to still go on maternity leave? I have more then the 600 hours and I'm 19w, I haven't told my work bc I just started 3 weeks ago and in Ontario your not covered until 17 weeks till your due date so you can get fired or they can take less hours from you. basically make your working life miserable so I'm waiting till I'm covered to tell them.
