Early ovulation?

Question

I normally ovulate around cd15 
Last month I got a positive opk cd 17
This month Iv got a opk similar to what I would a day or two before ovulation on cd9/10 is it normal to change so drastically

You can have LH in your system all month long. Your LH surges just before ovulation, which is why the line has to be as dark as or darker than the control line to be considered positive. My tests look like that all month long. They get progressively darker as I get close to ovulation and peak levels, and then they go back to a faint line like this and stay that way. This doesn’t necessarily indicate that you’re going to ovulate early. It may still be several days before your levels peak. You certainly could ovulate early, so you may want to continue testing untilyou see another positive, just to be safe. Good luck! 😊
