Birth control

So my boyfriend and I have been wanting to have sex for a while but I’m too paranoid to do that without being on birth control. I want to ask my parents to get me on it but I don’t know how. I’m worried they’ll get even more strict on me and won’t let me go out with him as often as we do now. My parents are very religious and they’re big on the whole waiting til marriage thing but I don’t share the same views as them. I want to just approach them and come out with it but I don’t know how
