So my MIL has been super full on for my whole pregnancy- over involved and making comments here and there.

She was really pissed when we bought our own pram because she wanted to buy it -but hadn’t told me this when we bought it.

She wanted a fancy white leather diamond decorated show pram which are lovely but I have two Siberian huskies so really not practical as the wheels done even turn! We ended up buying a dark grey pram with all attachments excellent suspension brake cables it’s an “off roading” type thing that cost us £1400. Its the one we chose and it fits out needs!

She has now gone behind my back and bought her fancy leather diamond glitzy pram and told me it’s for our daughter as her “town” pram and mine can be for walking the dogs. Fair enough.

She then told me it’s not to be kept in my house though because it will get dirty and ruined because of my dogs!? I think that is just so rude!? What’s wrong with my house?? She’s continually putting me down any making me feel inferior. Yes I’m only 22 but what difference should that make to her!?!

My house is clean my dogs are clean they are not feral!?

She said it’s for her use- I’ve explained that I am taking nine months off when I give birth and fully intend on having my daughter with me for the most part she won’t have her enough to warrant a pram and her comment about my house really hurt my feelings but she just turned round and called me ungrateful!?

I didn’t ask for the fancy pram- actually I specifically told her not to!

And she’s already said it’s not for my use it’s not to be kept at my house it’s not for my benefit at all!?!

Am I being over dramatic or is she crossed the line?
