Wisdom tooth?

So I’m having some discomfort where the arrow is pointing on the swelling , I have no pain on the tooth ? I’m going to be calling my dentist tomorrow but I’m curious as to why it’s even swollen there..

mine got sore too. my dentist said it's just bc your mouth runs out of room and it can rub on your Cheek.

I have one that has came in like that. I was a little sore because the skin around it was tender but it never really causes me any problems or pain. I'd rather leave it there than go through having it removed and have the pain afterward.

Probably infection from food or something getting stuck back there. My wisdom teeth didn't bother me for years even though they'd cut in then one got infected and dentist recommend just getting them out. I bought 3 sets of sheets on zulily afterwards when I was high on oxycodone!
