Anyone see a heartbeat for one baby but not the other?

Just went to my first ultrasound yesterday. Based off of my last period, I would be exactly 8 weeks yesterday.

When doing my ultrasound, we saw two sacs (hopefully - they said it could also be a bleed but looks just like the other sac and we were able to see something fuzzy and small in the other sac) and we were able to see one strong heartbeat in one and weren’t able to see any heartbeat in the other.

I’m scheduled to come back in 2 weeks to hopefully see more. They didn’t even take my blood or anything this time, just had me pee in the cup and do an ultrasound to confirm the pregnancy.

What happened for you if you experienced this? Were you able to see the other babies heartbeat later on? Maybe the baby just didn’t make it? I’m looking forward to going back and finding out more about our situation 💗
