What’s in Your Hospital Bag?!

I’m a FTM. 31w today and figured I should start thinking about what to pack in my hospital bag. Is yours packed yet? If not, when are you planning to pack it? What are you bringing? Help me brainstorm! (Bonus points if you also include what’s in your partner’s bag!) Thanks!

I’m 37 weeks and just finished packing my bag. Here’s what’s in mine:
-robe
-2 sets of nightgown type PJs with front buttons to make it easy for breastfeeding
-nursing bra
-nursing pads 
-socks
-slippers 
-nipple cream 
-toiletries & makeup
-hair ties 
-lip balm
-hairbrush
-lotion 
-cell phone charger 
-going home outfit for myself 
Husband’s bag:
-b-ball shorts & shirt to wear at night 
-towel for him to shower 
-jeans
-2 sets of shirts
-flip flops to wear during our stay
-socks
-going home outfit
-toiletries

We packed 1 large duffle bag. 
For me I had
2 nursing night gowns
Loose shorts for under so I didn’t have to worry
Nursing bra
Nursing cami
Pajama pants
Socks 
Flip flops 
Shampoo/toothpaste/toothbrush/deodorant/razor and brush with my 1 hair tie 
Phone charger and camera 
Him
Pair of jeans
Basketball shorts 
Couple t-shirts 
Socks/underwear 
Same toiletries as me minus the brush

Sandals/sneakers for driving home 
We packed a few snacks like sunflower seed, jerkey, and Gatorade 
Baby was 3 onesies and the going home outfit. 
Hospital provides everything mommy and baby need pads,diapers, wipes, towels, razors even decoders and such if you forget it. 
I think I listed everything. We had a 3 day stay

My Bag - Sanitary towels (day and night), breast pads, water spray bottle, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, hairbrush, lip balm, makeup, pyjamas, coming home outfit, spare trousers and top incase we have to stay in longer, slipper type flip flops for shower, flat shoes for coming home, hair bobbles/clips, a mini fan, my inhalers, knickers, deodorant.................... ------                                                                   My Partner - His bag contains a book to read, a comic, deodorant (his toothbrush and toothpaste are in my bag in a set), spare clothes, underwear/socks, spare eliquid juice as he vapes, paracetamol as he suffers headaches and let's face it I'll probably give him one 😂 Pair of shorts incase I get in the pool and he gets in with me (not likely but who knows?!) ... We've got a HUGE note on top of our bag saying "PACK PHONE CHARGER" ... and then --------------------------- -                                                                                        For our baby's bag - Nappies, nappy bags, wipes, vests, babygrows, journey home outfit, starter pack, muslin cloths, a blanket, socks, hat, bibs, a musical teddy lion 🧡

So I've been watching YouTube videos about this and the best  advice I've heard yet was a file folder for paperwork and a foldable bag for all the goodies the hospital gives you. I thought  those were great ideas.  someone also brought a surge protector  to ensure they had enough charging ports for phones, camera, etc.

I suggest bringing some baby nail scissors. My son was born with long nails and we had nothing to cut them with and the hospital didn’t either. His face was covered in scratches by the time we left.

I'm 32 weeks and haven't packed yet but will here soon. I would recommend some comfy clothes for after delivery as well as going home in also some big granny panties lol. A phone charger with a longer cord this was suggested by the nurse at the hospital tour as well as they provide hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, pads, and deodorant but you can bring your own. Also a pillow just in case you need extra other than what they provide.
