Dating an older guy with kids?

I'm 21, no kids of my own. He's 8.5yrs older than me with 3 kids, two girls and a boy, ages 2, 9 & 10. We also work together. What would you do?

Well. You’re both adults so if you feel like you can take all of that on then go for it. Personally, I couldn’t. Also dating coworkers is a big no-no for me lol

My step mom began dating my dad at like 21/22 and he was like 15/16 years older then her with 2 kids aged 3 and 6. looking back on it and how she handled looking after my brother and I she was not ready to have dealt with children that weren't her own... but they got married and have been together ever since. I'm now 22 so it's been about 16ish years, they also met at work lol so it can work out, but I'm gunna say just make sure you're ready to be around his children.

I'd say no, just because he's your coworker and his oldest child is half your age. You still have a lot of growing up to do at just 21yrs old,  and two of his kids are going to be teenagers in just a few short years ; you're barely out of school yourself. Think about the long term of this.

I won’t date coworkers or someone with kids, so this would be a double dealbreaker for me. But you’re not me, so you need to do what you think is best for you. It does sounds like this situation could create a lot of drama. I don’t think I would’ve been mature enough at 21 to deal with this situation, but that’s just me.

bad idea.... I was nearly doing this 10yrs ago! glad I never married him and he was 10yrs older.... I have my own sweet family with the best man with no baggage!!!
