crying cat?

why is my cat walking around crying at night? we give her so much attention and always makes sure she has food and water. we have another cat and they are friends, and she never cries. so wtf? its annoying but I want to help her if there's something wrong?

she is fixed. also I'm 39 weeks pregnant, does that affect anything? I know that they can sense it. maybe anxious that baby is coming?

She is singing the song of her people it is called 'Its 3am and my bowl is half empty I am going to surely starve to death'  all jokes aside now. She might be aware that baby is coming soon and is anxious about the change or she could very well have something else going on. Our cat did that but we lived in a haunted house but I am sure you'd know it if that was the case.

Maybe she’s bored? Or maybe there’s another cat outside that comes out at night?

I don’t know but it drives me bananas lol Only one of my cats does the nightly singing. He’s a little brat. If this is new for your cat, something might be wrong medically.

Take her to the vet and see if it's something medical. My cousin's cat started doing that when she had a UTI.

She could be anxious about the baby coming. Or there could be something wrong. I'd take her to the vet just to be sure.
