Talking/Comprehension

My son is a wiz when it comes to comprehending words & requests like “throw it in the trash”, “where did it go?”, “drink some water”, “where is Stella?”, “eat your food”, “brush your teeth”, “clean your ears” & “comb your hair”. However, when it comes to speaking like repeating after me, he doesn’t do it or seem interested in repeating. He loves to imitate us especially when we cough or laugh. He can say “dada, papa, mama, hello & bye” but that’s about it.

Anyone else’s child in a similar situation? Just wondering how everyone’s kid is progressing?
