Complicated love life

Okay so my friend and her boyfriend set me and this guy up when I came home for Easter from school. We talked a lot then when I got home in May we went on a date I was unsure about him after the date but the conversation was so easy to hold which I’ve never had happen before. We went on 3 more dates after that and I drove him and his friends out to the bars twice and pregamed with them (I wasn’t drinking obviously). Then I asked him if he want to do something after o got off work one day and he sent me this long paragraph about how he doesnt want a relationship, and it’s not about his ex because he is completely over her but it’s mainly because he wasn’t to move back to another state, and he didn’t want me to get the wrong idea cause he wasn’t making any moves. So we decided to be friends and just hang out well one night he basically took me mini golfing, ice cream and then we went back to his house and watched a movie well during the movie he put his arm around me and we ended up making out. So me being an over thinker I texted him asking what that was about and he said “I’ve wanted to do that for a while now because I think you’re an amazing person I just didn’t want you to think all I wanted was to get in your pants after what I said before”. We’ve hung out since but nothing like that night has happened and I do really like him which it’s been a while since I have actually liked/cared for someone so I just don’t know what to do. Also I need outside opinions.
