Casual sex

Is it wrong to have meaningless casual sex? I’ve been hurt recently and every time i try and get involved romantically it goes south so i wanna take a break from relationships and give my heart a break. But i still have needs and I’m horny all the time. I have a guy who I’m friends with, we’ve hooked up before and he’s always up for hooking up and there’s other guys who are more than willing to just hook up. None of wich want a relationship or anything serious. Is it a bad thing to take them up on their offer? Is it a bad idea to have casual sex?
