Hypothyroidism ???

Abby

Okay so I need some opinions! (This might be a long one).

For the past year I’ve been having pretty much every symptom that there is something wrong with my thyroid. I finally made an appointment for two Monday’s ago, June 11, and he sent me for blood work that day. Well I basically had to annoy them to get my results back because I’m pregnant and if there is a problem with my thyroid I need to know ASAP (especially considering I had a miscarriage in the beginning of February). I finally got my results after they didn’t call me for almost a week and they said my TSH levels were high (which usually means Hypothyroidism or an under active thyroid) and he told me to go next Monday for more blood work, June 18. So I went for that blood work this past Monday and once again had to call them because they weren’t calling me with my results and the lady just told me my tests were fine and basically hung up on me. I just don’t understand how one of my thyroid tests could be high and now it’s normal?? Also, this isn’t my primary care doctor... I was referred to go to this doctor by my doctor because they couldn’t get me in for a while and he wanted me to get my thyroid checked out ASAP. Should I schedule an appointment with my regular doctor and let him know my concerns? I’m just so confused.. has anyone ever dealt with this confusion from your thyroid??! Thanks in advance!
