Would you pay for your child's tattoo?

Before Senior year starts my friend wanted her thigh tattoo and her parents agreed to pay for it so she'd go to a good artist and get good work done. It's going to start at her hip and go down half way down her thigh

My mom has paid for 3 of my 4 tattoos. They were gifts over the years 🤷‍♀️ I don't see the issue and why everyone acts like it's only ok if they have a job

If they have a job and are just getting it out of nowhere then no. But if they don’t have a job or are wanting it for christmas, their birthday etc; then sure

If my child wants a tattoo while under my roof and under the age of 18-19 I would make them get a job save money for the tattoo while researching for a great artist before I'd even let my child get a tattoo.
