Didnt really actually have sex but still worried

So my bf of 4 years decided to have sex for the first time (both of our first times) and when he put his penis inside it started hurting me really bad, so he took it out, and there was a bit of blood. I washed up, and then we tried again after some time. He may have gotten a little deeper but then it started hurting alot again so I asked him to stop and he pulled out. He was a little wet, but not that much so that may have contributed to the pain. I am regularly taking birth control, and he didnt have a condom so we didnt use one. He didnt even come close to cuming or anything but I still have this small fear that i could still get pregnant. Is this fear justified?
