The class I took was more than just a birthing class. It went over all stages of labor, medication options, c sections, inductions, postpartum care, breastfeeding, baby basics, we got a full tour of the hospital, and it went over cpr as well. A lot of people think they don’t need a birthing class, I was totally one of those people! My husband thought it was a good idea and I’m glad we did it. So much of the class was really for the dads/support person. Plus the hospital tour was really great and would suggest doing that if nothing else.

I did but i didn’t find it useful at all.

I went to kind of a seminar at my birthing hospital. All the couples were able to talk to the nurses, pediatricians, physical therapist and lactation consultants that work there and get general information / ask questions. 
I found out a bit too late that my hospital had free classes to sign up for and I missed all the upcoming dates 😕

Mine was a 5 hr class at the hospital that covered car seats, pain management, infant cpr, etc.

My mommy instincts kicked in when my daughter was born. It was so weird. I thought I’d struggle caring for such a tiny baby, but I think I did okay
