Bleeding after medication abortion?

I just took the second set of pills for the medication abotion last Thursday (6/14) and wanted to know other ladies' experiences of how long after they bled? I was told expect 1-3 weeks but I'm hearing it can be up to 6? I just have a pap smear that I scheduled a long time ago and now I don't know if I'll be able to go since the bleeding hasn't eased up really at all. Any advice?
