Do you agree with this?

I came across this picture on Instagram and it made me think.

I agreed with it to the extent of not being owed anything but I at least think you should tell the person why. Except in the case where you've been warning and hinting to them before about maybe their behaviour etc., I think an explanation is owed simply out of decency and respect if the person hasn't done anything. Simply up and leaving without an explanation may have the person feeling like they did something wrong, are not good enough and  just confused and heart broken.

Those are my thoughts though. Maybe someone who disagrees will show me something different.
