What did I do wrong?

Soo, i've been talking to this boy for 2 weeks and we met up at the mall yesterday.. he kept grabbing my waist and giving me hugs, he even gave me a piggy back ride.. I was really starting to catch feelings for this kid now; before i left he kissed me on the lips but after that i texted him and i was like "i really like you" and he goes "oh, i'm really sorry but i like this other girl better than you, can we just be friends".. i was speechless that kid actually made me feel like i was worth it and then he goes and pulls that shit on me.. i honestly don't know what to do anymore.. i thought we had something:((
