Any tips on dating?

So I am 16 and I am going out with this guy to the movies and I really hope it won’t be awkward, I know I should “ just be myself”  but does anyone have any tips on how to be a good date?

I'm sixteen on my first date we basically got to know each other (we're still together) we asked each other question about themselves (likes, dislikes, I asked if he had siblings) we just spoke about us...getting to know each other.... keep it simple

Here it the best tip I know,if your the only one who is trying to talk or make a conversation then he isn't for you because if he doesn't try to talk to you then he probably doesn't respect your time which means he doesn't respect you,  just go with the flow and it will all be fine.
