Modesty?

Hi, so my friend sent me this video a couple of days ago and I want to know your guys opinions.

Here's the link (FYI the video is an hour long but you all don't have to watch it all if you don't want to):

And just so you all know, i watched it with an open mind and I feel like this video has some valid points: like it's hard in society to be modest and many people post provocative images that shouldn't be on the internet, some women's sport uniforms are unnecessary (like volleyball players don't need spandex where their butt cheeks hang out)and it is awful for girls to lead men on and tease them with full intention that they want nothing to do with them. Also that modesty isn't just about covering up but having self esteem and self worth which is all very important) HOWEVER I feel like men should be held to standards too. Like this video is making men out to be so weak that a girl can't even show some of her thighs or even shoulders because guys can't control themselves? And I realize that they do address that men should be held to the same modesty standards but women don't seem to lust/imagine things about every man they see that wears shorts and a tank. I don't know, I'm in a dilemma over it and I want to know what you guys got from the video.

Also, I am a Catholic and this video talks about the Church(though the quotes they mention are from 50+ years ago and most of this seems like personal opinion) but I have never once felt ashamed or told to change my clothing because I was wearing shorts. It's good to wear nice clothes to Mass because you are in God's house but I don't think God will condemn you and send you to hell if you show some skin, He just wants you to be present. Yet maybe modesty to this extent seems extreme only because it hasn't been taught and does not fit with what society today tells us and let me be clear that IN NO WAY am I saying that all those who dress modestly are weird or anything like that, because everyone should be treated with respect and dignity and should be allowed to express themselves as they please...as you can see I am questioning all of this and trying to see both sides.

Thank you all for reading and listening to what I have to say 🙂
