Advice?

Okay so... I was in this 8 month relationship with this guy & before we took our relationship any further we were friends with benefits, well towards the end of our relationship I figured out that he had been cheating on me with a girl whom he's never met in real life (except for once like 6 years ago) it hurt me pretty bad because the feelings i had for him were feelings i never had for anyone before, we stopped talking for a few months & he moved across the country, i forgave him, His moving situation didnt work out so he moved back and we've started talking again, he started telling me he didn't want to start all over with anyone else and he didnt want to hurt me again & he didn't plan on it. I'm so skeptical about it because I dont want to be broken again, i have so much love for him & I want this to work.. but I just need a second opinion..
