Pcos diagnosis

Hi All! I am new to this group. Yesterday I had a routine visit with my GYN (my first ever) and based on some of my symptoms she decided to send me for labs and ultrasound for pcos. She didn’t explain the labs to me though, nor did she explain what pcos would mean for me. What can I expect through this diagnosis process? And what can I expect now? Right now my symptoms are acne, hair above my lip, on my chin and heavy on my thighs, and a menstrual cycle that cannot get itself together.
