How many Ultrasounds do you have during your Pregnancy!?

My doctor has me going like every other week and I’m like is that good for the baby? Is this a money grab? I asked my mom how many she had with me and she had 3. 
How many have u had or should have?

That sounds like way too many unless you’ve got any particular issues. I don’t know what week you’re up to, but I only have them every 4 weeks from 20 weeks, and I’m having twins.

Yeah most people get two if you don’t have any complications. I’ve read that frequent ultrasounds are really not healthy for the baby so I think you should try to cut them down.

You should have as many as tor Doctor recommends - he or she is the medical professional and actually qualified for having an opinion on how many ultrasounds one should have.

My doctor wants to see me every month. We pay $25 each month. I get to see my baby 2D/4D every month. I get a 4D disc and 4 pictures given to me each time I go. Now that Im 32 weeks I get to see my baby boy every week until labor, but we pay $25 every 2 weeks now.

I got five. first to confirm how far long I was at 8 weeks. Second at 12 weeks for the first trimester screening. third one was at 20 weeks for anatomy scan. the other 2 were 3d ultrasounds we paid   out of pocket for that insurance didn't cover.

I have to have them every other week from 16-24 weeks to measure my cervix because I’m extremely high risk for pre term labor. If I was a normal pregnancy I would just get 2. So far I’m 14 weeks and I’ve had 2. I’m expecting to have between 7-10 for this pregnancy.

Most doctors depends on your health and history. Will do 2 ultrasounds.(what Insurance’s will pay for).
I’ve had 3 so far and 1 more to go. 
1. Was for a complication 
2. Was a normal dating scan
3. Anatomy scan
And the 4th. Will be in July due to this lazy lump Not moving and giving the tech enough pics.

So far I've had 4, but starting at 32 weeks I'll have them weekly. That is only because I'm over 35 yo. I'm seriously considering to refuse a couple of those if everything keeps looking and feeling right.
