What the heck???

Question

So I took a test today and it was negative but with a vvvvvery faint line that my husband couldn’t see. I’m 8 DPO. 
I went to move my test and it titled in some water on the sink and the test quickly absorbed the water and a minute later the test was positive!!! So confused now

The test is outside the timeframe, the line that is now on there is a result of the fluid evaporating off it.
If there was a real faint line when you took it (even if husband couldn't see it, cos lets face it they're not looking as hard as we do ;)) then when you retest in a couple of days it will be much more visible.
Toss these tests out and stop overanalysing them. Retest Monday. Good luck!
