L&D curiousity/genetics role, etc.

Obviously babies come on babies schedule. but I'm curious to know others opinions. a baby is considered "term" at a full 37 weeks Right, so is it appropriate to start attempting to get labor going then? personal experiences appreciate

d. also curious if your mother's first birth reflected your own first birth? (they say to look at your mother's first delivery for some kind of reference to your own, genetics play a role)

my mother went 2 weeks over with my sister (her first) and ended up not dilating and had a c-section (28 yrs ago) but mom told me her dates weren't solid as it wasn't a planned pregnancy and they didn't have alot of ultrasounds or dating scans like now. and I was a planned c-section 3 weeks early due to moms fractured pelvis. So idk if thats gonna give me any ideas on if or when I go. My sisters first birth was a day over due and a vaginal birth. her second was 4 days early and ended in c-section.

mother in law said hubby was 2 weeks Early, vaginal birth and he was really jaundice and stayed NICU a week.

maternity pic for fun 😍
