Do you think Youtube needs better monitoring?

There's been a lot of controversy surrounding youtube and the type of content they allow. Many content creators and avid youtubers are unhappy with the way youtube is run. Many are getting demonetized, having videos removed, age restricted, hidden, etc and have sought out other platforms and other methods of being paid while other youtubers who post "inappropriate" content have been allowed to go on without all of this happening to them. Do you think youtube needs to he monitored better?

Yes. Their current algorithms and everything sucks. Certain creators are given free pass for worse offenses than those who are consistently demonetized. Why this happens I’m not entirely sure. Some of those who are given a “free pass” or don’t face as heavy of consequences are a lot more wealthy and wealth = power in the US and that’s where YouTube is so there’s that. Another thing, their “trending” page is all screwed up. Videos that get an insane amount of views in a short amount of time aren’t featured there when they should be. Then you’ll have other videos with less total views that have been up for longer. I don’t like that. 
YouTube is messed up. I could go on for longer but meh. Don’t wan to write an essay. All in all, some of these creators who are treated rather poorly are the reason YouTube is what it is today. So it’s kind of shitty that they don’t get treated very well. That seems to be the norm though. These platforms get too big and the admins can’t keep up and the big shots are more focused on the looks of everything and promotion, yet the member ratings are going down. Ahem. Sound familiar.

All social media sites need to be monitored better, to be honest. They all allow disgusting, inappropriate content to be posted, while minor things get removed or banned quickly.

The algorithm is screwed. One creator can curse once in a video and get demonetized, and another can damage public property, assault someone, and bash another creator and still get monetized.
They are biased against certain creators, so they let others into events and meet-ups, who aren’t even half as popular.

I think it needs a lot more restriction! Unfortunately. Now a days, children under 18 have more accessibility to it and to some things that should definitely be aproved before posting. The same for people talking about suicide. It should restricted in some way. Too dangerous for it to be out there just like that, even for some adults!

Yes, I think they need clear rules about what isn't allowed and remove it and a place where someone could file a complaint if they or thier content was removed. I really liked Youtube's decision to not allow videos showing how to create bombs or modify weapons illegally.

Honestly the only thing I know YouTube moderates is videos that users classify 18+ and LGBT+ content.

Yes, I was watching bookswithEmily and she said that she can't say the name of an author because she'll get demonetized for it. The author's name is Philip K. Dick and because of the word dick she constantly gets demonetized if she even mentions his name in a video, so she just either shows the name of the author on the book or just doesn't say his last name.

YouTube sucks! I am obsessed with this guy in the Midwest who posts videos of him doing really cool things like mining, doing science experiments, etc. He ended up having to take like half his videos down because YouTube threatened to block him from uploading anymore videos, they have already demonitized his videos. They say it’s because he uses explosives, but it’s really not like that. He uses them for mining like how else is he suppose to mine? I don’t know it makes me really annoyed thinking about it.
