How to get pregnant (if only it were that easy)??

Question

Do you have sex every other day BEFORE ovulation (including the day before), or do you alternate the days and have sex ON ovulation day? I know it is supposed to be every other day, just not sure if I have my timing off. I am 33, and my husband is 39. TTC one month so far, but just see so many struggles I worry it will take awhile. Any advice is helpful!

Either should do the job. I highly recommend opk and bbt.

We had sex every other day from the end of my period a week through a week after a fertile week to be safe.

I just talked to my doctor again the other day. She said it really doesn’t matter if it every day or every other day. Won’t make a difference. She said it doesn’t increase your odds very much by having more sex. She said if you really don’t have the time to have all this sex then the best would be to use an OPK test and have sex the day you see a positive and the day after.

My fertility dr swears that 2-3 times a week will do it for “healthy” people. Every time though, there is only a 25%-30% chance of conceiving. Sperm can live for DAYS. But even if the egg does get fertilized there is a 50% chance it won’t make it to implantation. 
Even after that talk, we have sex every 2 days from the time my period ends for about 2 weeks.
