love is a choice not a feeling the feeling everyone experiences when they meet someone is literally chemicals in your brain not love.

If love weren’t a choice, we would all just love random people we don’t even know. I know I’ve personally never felt that.

Nope. If it were a choice we would be able to choose not to love someone anymore. I still loved my ex when I thought he simply cheated on me. That wasn't my choice. He broke me so badly that I fell out of love with him.

I personally do not. If it was a choice then there'd be a lot less heartbreak because we would chose people who are good for us.

I chose yes because once the honeymoon phase ends with someone, you have to work hard to make a relationship work. That means choosing love over and over again. 
I also believe in love at first sight though. I saw my husband for less than a minute and just knew I’d marry him.

I’ve never experienced love at first sight and even if I did, if I realized he wasn’t a good person I’d choose to turn away and eventually stop loving him. 
And love is actually a real thing scientifically.

Yes and no. When I met my husband, I didn’t choose to fall for him or have the feelings I had for him. When I realized I loved him, I just knew.
However, once that “honeymoon stage” ends and you get married...life happens. And at that point it requires a lot of effort sometimes. Relationships go through seasons. Sometimes I’m just totally in love one day. But then another day my husband makes me insane so I have to choose to still show love toward him. 
It will always take a continuous effort.
