JoJo Siwa

As

JoJo Siwa is a 15 year old (ex?) dancer, YouTube star, tv star, musical.ly star etc. She got famous for being on dance moms and then moved to YouTube and started to get more fans. If you’ve been wondering why you’ve seen so many little kids with bows in their hair, it’s probably because of her. She sells (pretty expensive) “JoJo Bows” to little kids and they’re super popular. Now to my problem with her. She’s 15 yet acts SO much younger like 8 or 9. She wears bows in her hair, dresses in crazy colours, yells A LOT, and she doesn’t really talk about stuff that people would at her age. Her audience is probably about 3-9 years old and I think they’re the reason for it. She is a good role model for the kids but I can’t help but feel she is forced to act so much younger so she can keep being this idol to the kids and make more money off of them. Is this fair? Should this teenager have to act like a child just so she, her parents, her manager or whoever can make money. I mean she may actually act like she’s younger but I highly doubt it. When the camera turns off I’m sure she acts like any other 15 year old girl. From her perspective I think it’s pretty horrible, having to act all the time wouldn’t be nice. On the kids and their parents perspective, I’m sure it’s amazing to finally have a good role model and they wouldn’t want her to change and “act her age”. So what do you think? Is there such thing as “acting your age” and should people do it? Do you think people are exploiting JoJo and if so do you think it’s ok or not?
