Potty training?

Question

Has anyone started? My daughter peed in the potty last night. We have been taking her diaper off and sitting her on it at night a few nights ago. Well low and behold she peed in it. We all freaked out cheering her on high fives everything. 
Is it shit luck? Should be do more with this than just sit her on it at night? I don’t even know where I would start with this!

My son did it the other night too! He’s interested, but I think mostly as just a novelty. We’re letting him explore at sit on our toilet before his bath at night but that’s about it. He recently also just pooped in the tub for the first time. I told him no, only on the potty or in a diaper (I could see him trying to push it out) and he did it anyway. He’s just barely figuring out the sensation, and his sense of control over it. Keep watching her and you’ll know when it’s right! Just don’t rush things.

It’s a great start! We have one and we only do after and before naps, and before bed and upon wake up. His daycare won’t help potty train until 2.5 so we see nonpoint I’m trying 100% until then. I also know he’s not fully ready right now, so we just stick to this schedule.

I’m not only because I’m really not into cleaning the potty. So I’m waiting until he can sit on the toilet and be mature about not playing inside the toilet. 
I’m thinking around his second birthday.
