Has anyone tried the sinus rinse bottle or neti pot on their toddler for congestion?

Any suggestions for congestion relief?

this is the one we use. it's a spray. it works like nothing else. my daughter can breathe within minutes and shes usually good through the night if I do it 20 minutes before bed.. we do it while shes in her high chair. my husband holds her hands to the side, I hold face and spray in each side.. with this spray, u need to do it while they are vertically positioned. so in a high chair,  is perfect. two big sprays and let it drip on it's own. within seconds it starts to drip like a hose.. and at that point I pick her up from the chair, hold her with one hand and wipe DOWNWARDS with a clean rag or a baby wipe.. takes about 15 minutes for the nose to stop running,  especially if shes really clogged up.  if shes really bad, I do it again after the first 15 minutes. 
she does scream LIKE HELL while I do it. but it's less than 5 seconds and then I wipe her and pick her up and continue wiping downwards to get all the stringy mucus out..

we do the saline stuff. my husband holds her hands down and I spray it. it takes literally less than 5 seconds and her nose starts running like a hose after it, and I just wipe it off her..

Yep, saline spray here too. My little boy has hayfever so we use this and an antihistamine syrup for toddlers. Helps him a lot, especially at night.

I’ve even done with make shift material. I used the designated Neti pot mix - dr sinus rinse (forget the actually name brand but it comes in individual tear packets) and mixed it with Luke warm water, then sucked it up with a clean blue bulb syringe. I sit baby at bathroom sink and give his cheeks a gentle squeeze just to keep his mouth open. I squirt it up one nostril side and out shoots all the gunk out the other nostril and in the sink. I have a harder time doing it now because he’s so squirmy. But it seriously makes a HUGE difference in his sleep and recovery time by us flushing it all out using the Neti pot method.
