Do I have a good change at getting rid of high blood pressure and sleep apnea once I lose weight?

I am considered obese according to the chart. I have already lost some pounds, but last year I was at a healthy weight. Then my asthma started acting up in the summer of last year where I could barely leave the bed because I needed breathing treatments. I am taking medicine for my asthma now, so it's not as bad, but I have a load of other problems now that got worse while I gained weight that summer. I was wondering if I keep losing weight, could that take away the high blood pressure and sleep apnea?
