I finally got my BFP and my husband and I were so thrilled. At about 5 weeks, I noticed very very light spotting. It was barely noticeable when I wiped. I called my doctor as a precaution and she told me to come in to check it out. She determined the blood was old and very faint but was concerned because my ultrasound did not show anything.. not even a sac. Then she took blood work and saw my levels are 4000.. she said at that level, there should be something in the uterus ...after waiting a day, she did another ultrasound and there was a small, tiny spec on the bottom of my uterus. She called that a potential blighted ovum and told me to expect to miscarry in the next day or so but not to rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy. I’ve had very little cramping and there has been no sign of blood since that very faint spotting yesterday. Please help. I’m very scared ...
