I’m 7w3d pregnant right now and I had my first Ob appointment. I thankfully brought up that I have been using my prescription retina a topical cream and the dr said I needed to stop using it because it’s a class D drug.

Isotretinoin (accutane) is known to cause major birth defects. Retin a is Tretinoin, so not quite the same, but a vitamin A medication regardless.

I’m SO nervous that I could’ve caused harm to this baby already and caused some sort of defect.

Has anyone else had experience using tretinoin during the first trimester and any issues?????
