How long did you wait from finding out about your pregnancy before telling very close family?

I had a chemical pregnancy last month, which I obviously found very difficult. I think I may be pregnant again, but I’m not sure when to tell my close family (my parents and my husband’s parents). Did you you wait until after your 12 week scan, or did you tell them earlier? Thank you for sharing your experiences!

I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going to miscarry and I was not fully comfortable telling people yet but my arrogant ass father posted it in Facebook before I even got the chance to announce my first pregnancy 🙄

We told both sets of parents and our three best friends the night we found out. We did warn them not to say anything and that the risk of miscarriage was still very high. But I would have wanted my mom and besties to know if that had happened, and my husband would have wanted thw support from his best friend.

we told my parents within a day or two of finding out, but they live in our basement and my mom and I are super close so it wasn't going to be easy to hide. the first was ectopic and I ended up in emergency surgery at 6 weeks and they were with us through it all. my 2nd this month was a miscarriage but we had told them right away again. I honestly don't know what we will do next time but I think we will try to make it to 8 weeks before letting them know.

I'm 6weeks pregnant I just came out and told my mom she was excited,my sister's in laws the only one we didn't tell was his mom because she annoying lol but he don't want us telling the rest of our family but he told his manager and co worker and I told my manager because I work in the kitchen and don't want anything happen and them say why didn't I tell them but anyway do you think I should just tell the rest of my family even if he gets upset he'll get over he always gets over it or just wait a little longer I'm not sure myself
