so i’m 36 weeks 6 days pregnant and the other day i was shaving (i couldn’t see because of this big tummy !! ) and i cut myself in my groin area, it started to swell and i had a dr appointment and my dr told me the cut got a little infected probably from a clogged pore. she prescribed me cephalexin 500 mg 3 times a day. once in the morning, mid day, and night time. the swelling has gone down for the most part on its own, (this happened saturday) my appointment was yesterday.

I hate taking medicine, and especially since i’m pregnant i don’t want to risk anything. has anyone been on cephalexin while

pregnant ? and do you think my dosage is too high ? a lot of sources online says 500 mg every 12 hours. and i plan on breast feeding when my son gets here. i’ve read it can be passed into the

milk.. will it be out of my system by the time he gets here ?! ugh !!
