Thoughts on the MMR shot at 15months?

My LO is going to her 15 month wellness check up tomorrow. One of the shots they are suppose to give her is the MMR shot. What are your thoughts??

We contemplated waiting but ultimately got the vaccine because it is most effective if the first dose is administered between 12-15 mos.

Getting it in 2 weeks! For those that already got the vaccine, was there any side affects after the shot? Anyone experience fever, fussiness, etc?

They gave my daughter that at her 12 month appoinment. I guess thats the way her doctors office does it but for 15 month shots she gets the chicken pox one and one more prevnar (her first dose of that one was at 4 months). We have her 15 month appoinment today.

It's the only vaccine we are delaying until after 3 years old.

We got ours done at her 15 month appt. We also have had major measles outbreaks in our area, so I was really happy to finally be able to get it done.

We got it, but with our next baby I think we’re going to delay it until after 3 years.

we got it. as well as the meningococcal vaccine coz the past year or so there has been an increase in deaths and amputations due to meningococcal in our area. Those poor babies 😢
