Can I eat after wisdom tooth extraction?

They only removed the bottom right today. I’m still bleeding after 5 hours and I’m starving. I heard you can eat soft stuff like mashed potatoes , soup etc ... but if I’m still bleeding that will probably not taste good at all... 😩 how long does it take for the bleeding to stop ugh .
I have to eat something especially because I’m breast feeding my LO.

I had all of mine removed last year. it took a whole day for the wounds to finally clot. I lived on milkshakes, smoothies, soups, pudding, and jello for 5 days 😂😂😂

Just eat soft foods like soup, yogurt, etc.

I ate ice cream and apple sauce the first day. And then started on stuff like mashed potatoes and noodles the next day. Just make sure you keep the holes clean after the first two days.

i had to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled i had a hard time opening my mouth.

I had all 4 taken out at once and it took 2 days to completely stop bleeding. I tried eating solid food and only chewing with my very front teeth lol didn’t work very well so I stuck with soup. And between meals I kept gauze in my mouth over the wounds and also sucked on ice cubes to numb it + shrink the blood vessels. 
Since you only have the one taken out, you can chew with just the opposite side of your mouth - and probably get away with eating solid food without much difficulty. But I’d still recommend soft stuff. If you eat something flavorful and warm, you shouldn’t notice the blood.

When I got all 4 out, it took a few hours, which was annoying because all I wanted to do when I got home was sleep. My mom found out that if you put tea bags in your mouth, it can stop the bleeding.
