How easy was it introducing your first child to the new baby ?

It’s easiest to keep big brother or sister as involved with the new baby as possible, ultrasounds , baby shopping all that gets them excited and makes them feel special. My 2 older kids were both in the hospital for the birth of my youngest. They were both excited to hold her.

I haven't yet but definitely don't keep the baby away from their siblings. That's just ridiculous. They need to bond together.

My daughter will be 10 Months Old when our second is born. I’m hoping it’ll be an easy introduction

i would not keep the baby away from them that will cause more problems. but you should slowly introduced them especially if they are real young which what i will be doing with my almost one year old son and his brother when he gets her in September
