So I’m just under 6 weeks postpartum. I had my 6 week checkup to get my birth control put in and we had a huge date night planned. Asked my MIL to babysit my 3 year old and 6 week old so we could go to dinner and have some alone time. We had it all planned out leading up to some sexy time for the first time since having our baby.

We waited because we didn’t want to take any chances on getting pregnant again. So here we are and my period starts the day before the big date night.

My husband hates blood, it totally weirds him out and is usually a big turn off for him. Well this is our conversation today and I did not expect this reaction from him.

I just love him so much and I love that he still surprises me 8 years into this silly, crazy, beautiful relationship. Also if you don’t know what bloodborne is, it’s a video game.
