Is it odd that I am excited for labor? I am due with my second the beginning of November. With my first, I was absolutely terrified of labor (I was 17). I would almost cry when I even thought about it. But with this one, I'm excited. I'm ready. My first labor actually ended up being pretty easy (considering it's still labor) and it just made me feel so strong and empowered knowing that I did that. It was all me, and my amazing body. So this time around, I'm ready and I'm excited. It makes me feel like I can do something that's meaningful, and important to so many people (anxiety and depression is real shit, isn't it?) And I love to see my partners face as he is supportive of me, and proud of me. Plus, at then end of it all, I get to meet my perfect baby boy. So bring it on labor! I'm ready for ya! (but not for another 3 months, gotta at least let little bug cook fully)
