paranoid

So, I know this is kind of dumb but I'm a big old paranoid person. I took a pregnancy test and it said it was negative. Surely, I got my period a few days later. But I kept the test for God knows why, amd it has been like 3 weeks. So, today, I was going to finally throw it to the garbage and noticed a very thin dry looking line on the test line. Note that I checked constantly on that ish for like a week lol amd it still was negative. Am I okay or what does this mean? Sorry for the dumb question.
