Child coming into my care

My godson is coming into my care for 3 months, August-November...with the possibility of it being permanent. He is a year old July 19.

I’m 24 on August 31.

I’m excited, because I’ve been fighting for him since before he was born. His mom is 17, with a 2.5 (almost 3) year old and my godson.

But I’m terrified. I don’t have kids of my own. Yet anyways.

Any advice for me?

I’ll be juggling him, my job, and my dog... and I have no idea how to.

My hours at work aren’t changing because I can’t afford for them to.

Daycare is being paid for, but is only open 7-5 pm Monday-Friday and I work 10-8 pm most days, Sunday-Thursday.

I just need some words of encouragement I guess, and advice. Any advice is good advice please.
